Coaching and Books

ADHD coaching is a powerful tool that helps you target the most impairing symptoms and develop strategies and skills for planning, organizing, and moving forward. It's a journey toward a more balanced and fulfilling life, where you can optimize your unique strengths and take steps to meet the challenges of ADHD.

Using coaching to help manage your ADHD symptoms

Dr. Cubbin advocates coaching and has heard from many patients about how it can be hugely helpful. However, unlike medicine, nursing, and psychology, coaching is an unregulated profession. This does not mean that a good coach cannot be found. Dr. Cubbin is currently working with an excellent ADHD coach, Gillian Shakespeare, who initially coached in educational settings and with whom she is developing a multimodal, empathy-based ADHD coaching strategy.

If you're interested in receiving coaching to help manage your ADHD symptoms and their impact on your life, please reach out to us for more information. Additionally, if you'd like to express your interest in a GROUP COACHING course specifically designed for WOMEN with ADHD, led by Dr. Sally Cubbin and her coaching colleagues, please contact us, and we'll notify you once the course is available. This course is currently in development.

Dr. Cubbin and Gillian Shakespeare, an author, illustrator, and coach, are collaborating on a book about ADHD and Women commissioned by Little Brown Books, set to be published in September 2025. We'll keep you updated on how to pre-order the book.

About Adult ADHD Clinic?

Dr Cubbin’s passion for ADHD has been developed in response to the growing understanding that this condition has been misunderstood, ignored and under-represented for too long.
